Hayley Filippini is a remarkable 13-year-old cancer survivor whose bright and generous spirit have inspired all of us at Dream Inspire Believe and Daytime with Donna. Diagnosed with a high-risk pineoblastoma with drop metastases in her spine in February 2011, Hayley has undergone intensive radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Though she has faced many challenges, Hayley has remained optimistic and has expressed a passion for helping other young children diagnosed with cancer.
In November 2011, Hayley was a guest on the Daytime with Donna radio show, where she learned that she, along with several family members, would be treated to dinner out in New York City, followed by tickets to a Taylor Swift concert. The experience was truly a dream come true for Hayley, who was able to meet Taylor Swift and spend precious time with her family, who had supported her through so much in the previous year.
